This is such a great way to turn any project into something really neat! You can do it to your furniture, your decorations, or anything else you want to look a little more rustic or aged.
This is the wood I used for our herringbone project. It was all a little darker and warmer than the color I wanted it to be.
The first thing you do is get whatever paint color you want, and dilute it with water. I did about a 1:1 ratio.
You get your paint brush, and some other paper or wood to paint to get the excess paint off of your brush. Your brush needs to have very little paint on it, then then wiped off from there.
